I'm a 24 year old vegan living in Washington DC. I became vegan three years ago when I still was living in Tennessee. There weren't many options for sweets in the town so I taught myself how to make what I wanted. I recently left graduate school where I was working on a phD in marine environmental science. I am now the head baker for a new vegan bakeshop in Maryland.
